The Nurtured Heart Approach® is a set of strategies that builds richer relationships. It inspires appropriate behaviors by energizing children when things are “going right”, and it sets clear limits. By implementing this simple framework, phenomenal results follow: peaceful home or classroom environment, less referrals for medication, higher test scores, improved social skills, richer “time in,” intensity used in creative rather than destructive ways and more. With the Nurtured Heart Approach® a child builds a sense of Inner Wealth which is the basis for great decision making and success – critical for all children in the modern world.

Howard Glasser is the creator of the Nurtured Heart Approach and Executive Director of the Children’s Success Foundation. As a Psychologist, he developed the Approach as a response to the lack of effective treatment for “intense” children – those who fall on the spectrum of ADHA, ODD, Autism, FAS, PTSD, RAD and more. In completely reframing treatment and parenting methodologies form a punitive model to one that acknowledges the Greatness in all children, the NHA® was born with revolutionary success. Twenty years, and many books later, Mr. Glasser continues to champion the Greatness of all children.
